THE PODCAST

Rearranging Deckchairs

We’re just rebranding the podcast at the moment from Creating the Curve to Rearranging Deckchairs – the new season will be out in a few weeks, but you can listen to the first season (branded Creating the Curve) now.

Conversations with founders and experts about why good businesses don’t sell and what actually works instead.

We talk to guests about their own businesses, the real stories of the things that worked and those that didn’t. We also bring on experts to give you advice on the topics most founders find painful, like sales and marketing.

What you'll get.

Every episode is a proper chat rather than me working through a list of questions, and my guests are very good at owning up to the bits that went wrong as well as the bits that worked.

A fair chunk of what ended up in my book started life as a conversation on this show, as the guests’ expertise has been absolute gold dust for founders (and for me!).

Topics covered

I like to make sure we’re covering the most pressing topics for founders, so we talk a lot about marketing and sales – which are often the most painful areas for anyone owning a business. We also cover getting your offer right, accountability, and other useful topics like money and leadership.

Want to be a guest?

If you’re a founder who wants to share your business journey, or an expert who has lots of knowledge to impart – message me, and we’ll see if we can get you on the show.

Season one, and the one before that.

This isn’t my first rodeo – as they say in the US. A season of the show is already available (under a different name) to dive into, and a previous show still has a goldmine of useful content to learn from.

SEASON 1

Creating the Curve

A quick heads-up. The show used to be called Creating the Curve, and I’ve renamed it Rearranging Deckchairs, so if you go back through the feed, you’ll find that first season sitting under the old name.

RETIRED, STILL UP

Crossing the Content Chasm

Before that I made a podcast called Crossing The Content Chasm, which got into the top fifty on iTunes and has now finished. The episodes are all still up if you fancy a rummage.

Have a listen.

You can find the show on most podcast platforms, including Apple and Spotify.
